A reminder on this All Hallows Eve that tomorrow is November 1, which is All Saints Day. Then on November 2, is All Souls Day.  Every one of us is called to be a saint, so why not strive to be the saint that you're meant to be.  Be inspired by the saints.  And finally, don't forget to pray for the souls in purgatory.

A frame that opens so you can change out the picture as often as you like, now how great is that.  We have several of these in our home. It is great for displaying my children's art, and it is even better that you can change it up whenever. Because if you have children, you know, there are lots of art.  This frame is available from many sellers, including Amazon, and it also comes in other colors. On the ones we have, the closure is magnetic and has a glass frame, so it looks nicely on the wall. On the back, there's space to keep a couple more pictures handy, so you can rotate/switch the art, as shown above. I like these frames so much, that I've bought several for around the house and for others. 

  image from Amazon So what does it mean when someone mentioned that they MacGyvered something? Well, watch an episode of MacGyver, and you’ll find out. If not, keep reading. Actually, it means coming up with a contraption just by using parts laying around to get yourself out of a problem. Of course, the contraption is even cooler when you use a Swiss Army Knife to make it, like MacGyver does. We’ve been watching MacGyver this year, and we’ve been enjoying it immensely. In several of the episodes, the influence of the Catholic Church is also mentioned prominently in the story, and in a good way. The adventures and dilemmas that MacGyver finds himself in, is quite amusing and entertaining.  Towards the end, the stories became inconsistent, a sign that the show was coming to a close. All good things must come to an end, but it was great while it lasted.
